Maison Jansen was a renowned Paris-based interior design firm founded in 1880 by Dutch-born decorator Jean‑Henri Jansen. It became famous for blending classical European styles with modern elegance, creating luxurious interiors for royal families, governments, and wealthy clients world-wide.
The firm worked in grand residences, embassies, and palaces, often incorporating antiques with contemporary pieces. During the 20th century, Maison Jansen decorated prestigious spaces for figures such as Jacqueline Kennedy at the White House.
Known for craftsmanship, refinement, and historical inspiration, the firm helped shape elite interior design until its closure in 1989.
